Sir David is one of the most famous naturalist in the world. He is the man who blew a siren and made the world wake up to climate change. He has been a staple to the wildlife nature TV programs and documentaries.

Produced by the team of “Planet Earth” and narrated by Sir David himself, this documentary captures the relationship between predators and their prey in a never seen before manner. It focuses on strategy, sharp instincts and physical prowess used by hunters, and the use of senses and defense tactics used by those hunted.
Life:
This series focuses on some of the extreme behaviours that life on this planet has adopted to or devised to ensure their survival. It shows the important role of evolution in it.
I am sure, almost every second documentary, if not every, that you have ever watched about nature would have been hosted by Sir David Attenborough.

David Attenborough is probably the most travelled human in history, besides Astronauts:
Even in the beginning of his career, he was travelling to places we could only dream of. Till now, he has ticked off every continent in the world. He travelled 256,000 miles for the “Life of Birds” documentary- same as travelling around the world 10 times!
Several species have been named after David Attenborough:
Sir David’s name has been attributed to several creatures as well as fossils. Most recently, a tiny fossil discovered in ancient volcanic rock was named Cascolus Ravitis. According to the BBC, 'Cascolus' is Latin for 'Attenborough' and 'Ravitis' is Roman for 'Leicester' - where he grew up.
He is the only person to have won BAFTAs for programmes in black and white, colour, HD, and 3D!
